General Admission
1. Eligibility
Individuals who correspond to any of the following 1 ~ 6:
* Foreign nationals are required to already have Japanese status of residence.
* To obtain a student visa for studying in NZ, students must acquire their passports by August 31, 2027.
- Individuals who have graduated from a Japanese junior high school or who are scheduled to graduate in March 2027
- Individuals who have graduated from a Japanese educational institution of compulsory education other than a junior high school or who are scheduled to graduate in March 2027
- Individuals who have completed the lower division of a Japanese 6-year secondary school or who are scheduled to complete it in March 2027
- Individuals who have completed nine years of formal education at educational institutions outside of Japan or who are scheduled to complete them in March 2027
- Individuals who have completed an educational program provided by an educational institution outside of Japan which is recognized by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan as being equivalent to the education program of a Japanese junior high school or who are scheduled to complete it in March 2027
- Individuals who have reached an appropriate age and have been determined to have an academic ability equal to or higher than that of a Japanese junior high school graduate

* The online application registration period is from 9:00 AM JST on the first day of application acceptance to 5:00 PM JST on the final day.
* Payment of the examination fee is due within 3 days after the date of registration, or by 11:00 PM JST of the final day of the application period, whichever is earlier.
* Application documents sent by mail should be postmarked on or before the final day of the application period.

4. How to Apply Online
Select "My Page Registration" and input the required application information.

* Application information to be input includes: the examination venue, a statement of purpose, applicant information, and guardian information.
* Characters other than JIS Level 1 and 2 cannot be used. Please use substitute characters. Note: the Student Identification Card will use the name submitted here. Example: 髙松 → 高松 山﨑 → 山崎 Ⅲ(roman numeral) → 3(Arabic numeral)
Statement of Purpose
Please explain the following in English (300 words or less) or Japanese (400 characters or less).
- "Reasons for applying for ICT."
- "What do you want to keep in mind while working in groups after you enter ICT?"
* We recommend preparing and preserving your statements in advance using word processing software.
Data entry will shut down if there is no transmission for 60 minutes.
On the Handling of Personal Information
The personal information you provide—such as your name, address, and other details—when submitting your application and completing enrollment procedures will be used for: purposes related to the administration of the entrance examination (including application processing and test administration), the announcement of results, admission procedures, and tasks required up until your student registration is finalized.
In addition, certain tasks deemed necessary by us to ensure a smooth start to student life may be carried out by contractors entrusted with such work by the ICT Admissions Center (hereinafter referred to as contracted service providers).
We will enter into agreements with contracted service providers regarding the protection of personal information, ensure that they manage such information appropriately, and may provide them with all or part of the personal information you have submitted.
Please note that the results of the entrance examination may be shared with your former school.
5. Examination Fee
Examination Fee: 15,000 yen
After submitting application information, proceed to examination fee payment.
The examination fee is payable by credit card.
The following cards are accepted:

* The credit card holder and applicant do not have to be the same individual.
* A service fee of 481 yen (including tax) will be charged in addition to the examination fee.
* Examination fees cannot be refunded.
6. Application Documents
- Academic Transcript (including a statement on the status of graduation, etc.)
Prepared and sealed by the principal of the applicant’s current school,in either ICT transcript format or the format of the current school.
* Documents submitted will not be returned.
* Send documents by registered express mail when sending from within Japan.
Application documents may also be submitted directly to our school office. Reception hours are 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on weekdays and 9:00 am to noon on Saturday. (Closed on Sunday and holidays.)
To mail from within Japan, attach the completed Address sheet to an envelope.
To mail from oversea, use the international postal service EMS Express Mail Service.

7. Examination Certificate and Photo Certificate
The Examination Certificate and the Photo Certificate [PDF] can be downloaded from the online admission website from the following dates.
After logging in, select [The Examinetion Certificate, The Photo Certificate].
- Use A4 size paper to print.
- The photo should be 4 cm x 3 cm of the chest and head with no headgear, taken within the past three months.
- Cut the Photo Certificate from the Examination Certificate and bring both to the Examination Venue.
- If you forget your Examination Certificate or Photo Certificate on the day of examination, notify the examination staff.
- The Student Identification Card will use the photo attached the certificate.

Interview will be conducted via video call at the venue after the academic ability evaluation.
9. Selection Method
Selection is based on comprehensive assessment of the academic ability evaluation, interview, and application documents.
ICT Leadership Award Scholarship
The General Admission is a target examination category for the ICT Leadership Award Scholarship.
