From Wednesday, June 4th to Friday, June 6th, 2025, the “2025 Ishikawa Prefectural High School Comprehensive Athletic Meet – Badminton Competition” was held at the Ishikawa Sports Center. Five students from ICT, 1st or 2nd year, participated in the tournament. The participants were: 1st year students Shunta Tamura, Haku Naito, and Tamon Mitsutome; and 2nd year students Hajime Tani and Seiya Fujiwara. For our badminton club, which was established last summer, this was the third official tournament.
In the doubles matches, the pair of 1st year students Shunta and Tamon, and the pair of 2nd year students Hajime and Seiya, both unfortunately lost in the first round despite their efforts. In the singles matches, Tamon and Hajime advanced to the second round, while Seiya made it to the third round.
The students have been training diligently on a daily basis, and they gave their all in the matches without giving up until the very end. Their dedication not only contributed to their performance in this tournament but also provided them with valuable experiences that will help them grow as individuals. We look forward to their continued development and future success.
