Preliminary Eligibility Screening for Admission

If you wish to apply for a preliminary eligibility screening for admission, please contact the ICT Admissions Center at least two months prior to the date of the examination for which you plan to apply.

Examination

Global Admission and Admission Based on Self-Recommendation

Interview will be held online. You will need an internet connection such as a computer, tablet, or smartphone to conduct the interview.
The applicant’s identity will be confirmed verbally and with the photo certificate. Please make sure to prepare a microphone and camera.
Nobody other than the applicant is allowed to stay in the room used for the interview.
Do not use any virtual backgrounds.
Do not use any applications other than those used in the interview (Internet browsers, dictionaries, etc.).
If you cannot access the online interview before the starting time, please call the ICT Admissions Center immediately for help.
Failure to access the online interview within 30 minutes after the starting time will be regarded as giving up the interview.

General Admission

If you visit the examination venue to confirm its location prior to the examination, please do not enter the building.
You must arrive at the site no later than 30 minutes prior to the start of the examination, and sit at your designated seat. However, the building will be open from 8:30 AM.
If circumstances beyond your control prevent your arriving on time, please call the ICT Admissions Center immediately and follow the instructions you are given.
If you do not arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the examination, you will not be allowed to take the examination.
Only pencils, an eraser, a ruler, and a watch may be used during the examination. Watches with multiple functions such as calculators, translators, or communication tools must not be used.
Cell phones or smartphones must be completely shut off and placed in a bag or briefcase before entering the examination room.

Special Considerations for Examinations, Attending Classes, or Daily Life

If you have a physical disability or other disability that requires special consideration in taking the examination, attending classes, or daily life, please contact the ICT Admissions Center before applying.
In addition, if you wish to receive special consideration for examination due to unforeseen accidents after applying, please contact the ICT Admissions Center immediately.

Precautions for Infectious Diseases for Which Suspension of Attendance is Regulated by the School Health and Safety Law

On the day of the General Adminssion, if you have an infectious disease (influenza, measles, chickenpox, etc.) for which attendance is suspended under the School Health and Safety Law and have not recovered, you may infect other examinees or supervisors, etc. Therefore, in principle, you are not allowed to take the examination. However, this does not apply if the school physician or other physician determines that there is no risk of infection.
Please take care of your physical condition on the day of the examination.

On the Handling of Personal Information

The personal information you provide—such as your name, address, and other details—when submitting your application and completing enrollment procedures will be used for: purposes related to the administration of the entrance examination (including application processing and test administration), the announcement of results, admission procedures, and tasks required up until your student registration is finalized.
In addition, certain tasks deemed necessary by us to ensure a smooth start to student life may be carried out by contractors entrusted with such work by the ICT Admissions Center (hereinafter referred to as contracted service providers).
We will enter into agreements with contracted service providers regarding the protection of personal information, ensure that they manage such information appropriately, and may provide them with all or part of the personal information you have submitted.
Please note that the results of the entrance examination may be shared with your former school.
