4年生はシンガポールで多様性を体感！
4年生希望者は、シンガポールへフィールドトリップに行きます。提携校であるシンガポール理工学院の学生とのスポーツ交流や、市内観光など、楽しい思い出を作ります。これまでの学習で培った英語力を試すチャンスでもあり、文化の違う人々との交流を学ぶ場でもあります。
シンガポール理工学院について
シンガポール理工学院は、シンガポールで最も歴史のある最大規模の高等教育機関で、金沢高専との交流は25年以上にわたります。
18歳からの3年制で、工学だけでなく、ビジネス、化学、バイオなども学べ、1万2000名の学生が在籍しています。
マイルプログラムとは？
毎年、国際高専生とシンガポール理工学院の学生とが国際交流を図るプログラム「マイルプログラム」を実施しています。シンガポール理工学院の学生が国際高専に滞在し、約10日間にわたって、キャンパス見学、企業訪問、金沢観光などを行い、交流を深めています。
交流を通じて学生たちは、国や言葉の違いを超えて打ち解け、強い友情を育んでいます。
Field Trip in Singapore [One Week]
The purpose of the trip is for ICT students to come in contact with different cultures.
Fourth year students have a chance to go abroad for one week!
- There are many Events! (Sentosa Island sightseeing, Night Safari and more.)
- Sports activities with the students of Singapore Polytechnic.
- Welcome the Singapore students to Kanazawa in “MILE Program”!
About the Field Trip
All 4th year students go on an overseas field trip to Singapore in November.
They will go sightseeing and also participate in sports activities with sp students to use the English they have been studying for 4 years in real life scenarios．
What is Singapore Polytechnic ?
Singapore Polytechnic is the oldest and largest higher educational institute in Singapore. The exchange program between ICT started more than 25 years ago.
Singapore Polytechnic has three year diploma courses for students older than 18. It has 10 departments not only in Engineering but also in business, chemistry, biotechnology and others. Around 12000 students attend Singapore Polytechnic.
What is the MILE program ?
Every year, the students of ICT and the Singapore Polytechnic (SP) participate in the "MILE program". This is a program where the Singapore students come to Japan and stay with ICT students’ families for about 10 days. During that time they go around the campus, on company tours, and on sightseeing excursions.
Through this program, students can build friendships with Singapore students despite the difference of language and nationality.
