The Examination Fee is payable by credit card.

  4. Other documents* If you have any qualifications or special skills, attach the certificates. Copies are acceptable.

* Documents submitted to us will not be returned.

* Send by registered express mail when sending from within Japan.
Application documents may also be submitted directly to our school office. Reception hours are 9:00 to 4:00 on weekdays and 9:00 to 12:00 on Saturday. (Closed on Sunday and holidays.)

About the Examination Certificate

The Examination Certificate [PDF] can be downloaded from the online admission website from the following date. Select [Review Application Data: Print Examination Certificate].

Online Application

  • Use A4 size paper to print the Examination Certificate [PDF].
  • Attach an ID photo to the Photo Certificate which is below the Examination Certificate. It should be a 4 cm x 3 cm photo of the chest and head with no headgear, taken within the past three months.
  • Cut the Photo Certificate from the Examination Certificate and bring both to the Examination Venue.
  • If you forget your Examination Certificate or Photo Certificate on the day of examination, notify the examination staff.
  • The Student Identification Card will use the photo Attached the Certificate.

Notices Regarding the Examination

  1. If you visit the examination venue to confirm its location prior to the examination, please do not enter the building.
  2. You must arrive at the site no later than 30 minutes prior to the start of the examination, and sit at your designated seat.
  3. If you do not arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the examination, you will not be allowed to take the examination.
  4. If circumstances beyond your control prevent your arriving on time, please contact the ICT Admission Center immediately and follow the instructions you are given.
  5. During the examination, only number two pencils, an eraser, and a watch may be used. Watches with multiple functions such as calculation or communication may not be used.
  6. Cell phones must be completely shut off and placed in a bag or briefcase before entering the examination room.

Examination results will be posted on the Admission Result Web site.
Individual examination results will be mailed directly to the applicant on the day of the announcement.

  • We cannot answer individual inquiries about results.
  • Late payment of the admission fee cannot be accepted for any reason, including any error in operation or functioning of this Admission Result Web site.
  • Please note that we may notify the applicant's school of the examination results.

The Admission Procedure

Admission fee: 200,000 yen

* The admission procedure is complete when the admission fee has been paid and the admission documents have been submitted (including the written pledge).

* Admission fees cannot be refunded, and documents submitted to us will not be returned.

(2) Fees for study abroad to be paid by 3rd-year students attending Otago Polytechnic, New Zealand are as follows:

(The exchange rate in 2021 is calculated at NZ$1.00 = 90.00 yen)

(3) In addition to the above, the following fees (annual) are required:

Student Association fee: 9,600yen
Alumni Association fee: 6,000yen

About Personal Information

Personal data (name, address, etc.) you submit will be used for the examination, (application registration and examination), notification or result, admission procedures up to registration as a student, and for any other procedures the school may deem necessary for a smooth transition to school life.
Potions of the above-listed procedures are entrusted by ICT to third-party contractors. All or part of the personal data you submit will be entrusted to these third-party contractors.

These third-party contractors are under contract to us to ensure maintenance of confidentiality of personal data, and we have taken steps to ensure that these contractors take appropriate measures to manage it.

Global Admission (18 students)

1. Eligibility

Individuals who will be resident in Japan by March 31, 2019, and correspond to any of the following (1) - (6):

  1. Individuals who have graduated from a Japanese junior high school or who are scheduled to graduate in March 2019
  2. Individuals who have graduated from a Japanese educational institution of compulsory education other than a junior high school or who are scheduled to graduate in March 2019
  3. Individuals who have completed the lower division of a Japanese 6-year secondary school or who are scheduled to complete it in March 2019
  4. Individuals who have completed nine years of formal education at educational institutions outside of Japan or who are scheduled to complete it by March 31, 2019
  5. Individuals who have completed an educational program provided by an educational institution outside of Japan which is recognized by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan as being equivalent to the education program of a Japanese junior high school or who are scheduled to complete it in March 2019
  6. Individuals who have reached an appropriate age and have been determined to have an academic ability equal to or higher than that of such a graduate

1. Eligibility

Individuals who correspond to the following (1) - (3) and were born on and before April 1, 2004

  1. Individuals who have completed nine years of formal education or who are scheduled to complete it by March 31, 2019
    This nine years of formal education is equivalent to a 9-year course of Japanese educational institution of compulsory education
  2. Individuals who have been registered at a foreign educational institution (including a school for Japanese residing abroad) for two or more years consecutively and have returned to Japan within the past two years
  3. Individuals who have Japanese citizenship or are permanent under Japanese law
