Hello, this is Akihiro Takimoto, supervisor of the tennis club. The 59th Technical College Tennis Competition in Hokuriku Region was held at the Tatsunokuchi Kyuryo Park Tennis Ground in Ishikawa prefecture for two days: Saturday, July 6th, and Sunday, July 7th, 2024. This was the first official competition for the tennis club, established in September 2023 as the first athletic club of ICT.

From our school, fifth-year student Shori Kudaka and fourth-year student Kan Kinoshita participated in the singles competition. Fourth-year student Sansar Sergelen supported them as the team assistant. Both matches were held at the same time on courts next to each other on Sunday 7th at 10 a.m. At the beginning of the game, both players were slightly nervous. However, they gradually relaxed and were able to show the results of their training. Although both players lost, it was a very enjoyable match and a satisfying result.

I would like to thank Mr. Maruta, our coach, for his enthusiastic guidance, and the ICT office staff for supporting our participation in this tournament. Thank you very much.
