7名の学生が「令和6年度石川県高等学校新人バドミントン選手権大会」に出場

2024年11月6日（水）から8日（金）にかけて、美川スポーツセンター、美川体育館、松任総合運動公園体育館で「令和6年度石川県高等学校新人バドミントン選手権大会」が開催され、本校の1・2年生7名が出場しました。今年度の夏から発足したバドミントン部にとって、今回が初めての公式戦となりました。
本校からは、1年生の谷 一さん、橋本 一輝さん、藤原 聖也さん、2年生の太田 光貴さん、髙田 星奈さん、中山 尚さん、安田 萱さんが出場しました。ダブルスでは谷さんと藤原さんペアが、シングルスでは谷さん、藤原さん、太田さん、中山さんがそれぞれ2回戦まで進みました。
今年の夏から本格的に練習に励んできた学生たちにとって、今回の大会は大きな挑戦となりました。この経験を通じて、学生たちは新たな目標に向けた一歩を踏み出すことができたのではないでしょうか。

Seven Students Participated in the 2024 Ishikawa Prefecture High School Newcomer Badminton Tournament

On Wednesday, November 6th to Friday, November 8th, 2024, seven students participated in the 2024 Ishikawa Prefecture High School Newcomer Badminton Tournament. It was held at the Mikawa Gymnasium, Mikawa Sports Center and Matto Comprehensive Sports Park Gymnasium. For the badminton club, which was established this summer, this was their first official match.
From ICT, 1st year students Hajime Tani, Ikki Hashimoto, and Seiya Fujiwara, along with 2nd year students Mitsuki Ohta, Sena Takada, Sho Nakayama, and Kaya Yasuda, participated in the tournament. In the doubles category, the pair of Hajime and Seiya advanced to the second round, while in the singles category, Hajime, Seiya, Mitsuki, and Sho also made it to the second round.
For the students who have been practicing since this summer, this tournament was a big challenge. Through this experience, it seems they were able to take a step toward new goals and aspirations.
