5名の学生が「令和8年度石川県高等学校総合体育大会 バドミントン競技」に出場
2026年6月3日（水）から5日（金）にかけて、美川スポーツセンター、美川体育館にて「令和8年度石川県高等学校総合体育大会 バドミントン競技」が開催され、本校からは1・2年生の5名が出場しました。出場したのは、1年生 生田 雄誠さん、江口 豪さん、奥下 玲音さん、尾山 駆さん、2年生 内藤 巴玖さんです。
この大会では通常、どの高校でも経験豊富な3年生が主力選手として出場してくるためレベルが高く、バドミントンを始めたばかりの本校1年生にとっては、大きな挑戦の場となります。今回の大会では、1年生はシングルス・ダブルスともに勝利することはできませんでしたが、格上の選手と戦った中で、今後に向けた多くの学びを得る大会となりました。1年間しっかりと練習を積んできた2年生の内藤さんは見事2回戦まで進出。日頃の練習の成果を本番で発揮することが出来ました。
今回の大会で得られた経験をこれからの練習に生かし、次の高専大会と新人戦に繋げてくれることを期待しています。
Five Students Participated in the 2026 Ishikawa Prefectural High School Comprehensive Athletic Meet – Badminton Competition
From Wednesday, June 3rd to Friday, June 5th, 2026, the “2026 Ishikawa Prefectural High School Comprehensive Athletic Meet – Badminton Competition” was held at Mikawa Sports Center and Mikawa Gymnasium. The participants were: 1st year students Yusei Ikuta, Go Eguchi, Reo Okushita and Kakeru Oyama; and 2nd year students Haku Naito.
In this tournament, experienced 3rd year students typically compete as the main players at most high schools, making the level of competition very high. For our 1st year students, many of whom have only recently started playing badminton, this was a significant challenge. Although the 1st year students were unable to secure a win in either singles or doubles, competing against higher-level players provided them with many valuable lessons for the future. Meanwhile, Haku Naito, a 2nd year student who has been training diligently over the past year, impressively advanced to the second round, demonstrating the results of daily practice in an actual competition.
We hope that all participants will build on the experience gained in this tournament and apply it to their future training, leading to further success in the upcoming National College Tournament and the Rookie Tournament.
