10月24日（水）のNHK金沢「かがのとイブニング」で、全国大会出場を決めた国際高専ロボコンBチーム「森の革命」が生中継で紹介されました。

生中継ではロボットの紹介、ロボコンに不可欠な３要素「正確さ」「美しさ」「納期通り」、学生へのインタビュー、全国へ向けた意気込みを語りました。今回の競技テーマは、カフェの店員のロボットを作って、かっこよくテーブルにペットボトルを乗せるボトルフリップです。難易度の高さから、予選では挑戦すらしなかった2.4mの上段テーブルに乗せる大技ですが、あれからロボットに改良を加え、なんと本番の一発勝負でボトルを立たせることに成功しました！リハーサルで一度も成功しなかった大技を生放送で決め、本番への強さを見せました。

さらなる高みへ、国際高専Bチームの挑戦はまだまだ続きます。

国際高専Bチーム「森の革命」が出場する全国高等専門学校ロボットコンテスト2018の全国大会は11月25日（日）に国技館（東京都墨田区）で開催されます。

On October 24 (WED), the ICT RoboCon Team B "Forest Revolution" was featured on live television on NHK Kanazawa's "Kaganoto Evening." Team B lately passed the Tokai-Hokuriku region qualifier tournament and advanced to the national championship.

The students introduced their robots, the three most important engineering elements for RoboCon "accuracy", "beauty" and "being on schedule", answered interviews, and expressed their excitement to compete in the nationals. This year's theme is "bottle flipping." Students create a robot that can flip plastic bottles onto tables of different height and shape.

During the program, team B actually succeeded in landing a bottle on the highest table (2.4m). This is a challenge that they did not even try at the qualifier rounds due to its high difficulty. Pulling off a big act for the first time on live television anticipates team B's strong performance at the championship.

The national championship will be held on November 25 at Kokugikan in Tokyo.
