On Sunday, February 23rd, 2025, the Platinum Festival, organized by 1st and 2nd year students, was held at the Hakusanroku Campus. The Platinum Festival has been held since the opening of the Hakusanroku Campus with the aim of introducing its activities to a wider audience, and this year marked its sixth edition. A total of 109 visitors attended, including 52 parents of current students, as well as local residents and elementary and junior high school students from the Hakusanroku area.

The opening ceremony was hosted by Executive Committee members Kanamu Yamamoto (2nd year) and Rintaro Kamoshita (2nd year). The ceremony began with a welcome speech from Executive Committee Chairperson Rinse Okiyama (2nd year) and was followed by a presentation from the Design & Fabrication Club students on their extracurricular activities over the past year.

Next, the on-campus robotics competition called RoBowl was held. This event provided an opportunity for students to once again showcase the skills and techniques they developed during the Tokai-Hokuriku Regional ROBOCON 2024, while also serving as practice for next year’s ROBOCON.
The competition's rules required robots to grab and throw a ball to knock down ten pins. Each match lasted 2 minutes and 30 seconds, and teams controlled their robots via wireless or autonomous operation, allowing a maximum of three throws per round.
A total of six teams participated, competing fiercely for points. Three teams advanced to the final round, and the winning team had the chance to participate in a special exhibition match against Yoshihiro Kushima sensei.
In the end, the 2nd year C Team (led by Mitsuki Ohta, Rintaro Kamoshita and Kaya Yasuda) won the championship, while the 2nd year A Team (led by Kanamu Yamamoto) received the Idea Award.

At the booth events, visitors had the opportunity to interact with students and faculty from the ICT. Various activities were held, including a photo contest, a photo gallery, a game corner, and a robot exhibition, allowing attendees to enjoy a fun and engaging experience together. In the 2nd half of the event, ICT students and a teacher performed live music creating an exciting and lively atmosphere in the venue.

At the closing ceremony, President Masaaki Shikada gave a speech, saying, "Despite the heavy snowfall today, thank you all for coming to the Platinum Festival. Thanks to everyone’s support, this event has truly become something special. I would like to express my deep gratitude to the 1st and 2nd year students who worked tirelessly as the organizing committee to make this wonderful festival happen."
Finally, after closing remarks from Kanamu, Rintaro and Rinse the festival closed.
