第60回高専祭を開催

2025年10月18日（土）に金沢キャンパスにて「第60回高専祭」が開催されました。今年のテーマは「青く轟け〜Turn the beat on〜」です。青い炎のように、熱く、そしてクールにという思いが込められました。昨年よりもエリアを拡大し、屋内外で多彩な企画を展開しました。
屋内の学科紹介ブースでは、学科紹介ポスターや研究・授業成果の展示を通じて、国際高専の学びを紹介し、学外との交流の場としても活用していました。また、教職員・学生による華道作品や美術作品、ロボコンなど課外活動の展示もあり、授業以外での学生の成果も披露しました。高専同窓会によるホームカミングデイブースでは、歴代の卒業アルバムの閲覧が可能となっており、約20名のOBが訪れ、世代を超えた交流の場となりました。

屋外では、5年生による麻婆豆腐の販売、2年生による高専紅はるかの提供、野外ステージでは、プロジェクターを用いた留学生座談会、OBおよび学生のバンド演奏、課外活動報告など新たな企画も加わり高専祭を盛り上げました。高専ロボコン全国大会の壮行会では、同窓会会長、育友会会長、学生会会長、校長先生から激励の言葉が贈られ、Aチーム代表の太田 晴喜さんより、感謝の気持ちと全国大会への意気込みを述べました。最後に、恒例のビンゴ大会で会場は大盛り上がりでした。

今年の高専祭は60回の節目ということもあり、学生会を中心に企画数の増加やイベント会場の拡大など、工夫を凝らし、準備に力を注いでいました。来年度は今回の高専祭を土台として、さらに充実した学生主体の行事となることを期待したいです。昼過ぎには雨が降り始めた高専祭でしたが、幸い大きな影響を受けることなく、無事に終了することができました。

On Saturday, October 18th, 2025, the 60th KOSEN Festival was held at Kanazawa Campus. This year’s theme was “Roar in Blue – Turn the Beat On”, expressing the desire to be as passionate and cool as a blue flame. Compared to last year, the event area was expanded, offering a wide variety of programs both indoors and outdoors.
Indoors, the department introduction booths showcased posters and exhibits of research and class achievements, introducing the learning environment at ICT and serving as a place for interaction with visitors. There were also displays of ikebana and art projects created by faculty and students, robots created for ROBOCON competitions, highlighting student achievements beyond the classroom.
At the Homecoming Day booth organized by the alumni association, visitors could browse through past graduation albums. About 20 alumni attended, creating a space for cross-generational exchange.

Outdoors, the festival featured a variety of attractions, including Mapo Tofu sold by 5th year students and KOSEN Beniharuka sweet potatoes offered by 2nd year students. On the outdoor stage, new programs such as a roundtable discussion with 3rd year students in New Zealand using a projector, band performances by alumni and 4th and 5th year students, and reports on extracurricular activities added excitement to the event.
During the send-off ceremony for the National KOSEN ROBOCON Contest, encouraging words were delivered by the Alumni association representatives, the ICT PTA, the student council,and the ICT President. The leader of Team A, Haruki Ohta (4th year) expressed gratitude and shared his determination to do well at the national competition.
Finally, the festival concluded with the traditional bingo tournament, which brought the event to a lively climax.

This year’s KOSEN Festival marked its 60th year, and the Student Council took the lead in increasing the number of programs and expanding event spaces, putting great effort into creative planning and preparation. Looking ahead, we hope next year’s festival will build on this foundation and become an even more fulfilling, student-driven event. Although rain began to fall in the early afternoon, this did not have a major impact on the festival and it ended successfully.
